At our center is Jesus Christ – his life, death, and resurrection.
This is reflected in all we strive to be and do.
We are grounded in the Bible, the inspired word of God, which contains all things necessary for salvation. And we express our faith in Christ through the Anglican tradition of worship in the Book of Common Prayer.
We believe in the Church, the Body of Christ, of whom he is the head. All baptized people are members, adopted into his family, to form a community of faith and commitment - not a club.
We believe in the diversity of gifts and talents, and every Christian is called to share and give of their time, talent, and treasure in loving service to Jesus and his world. Though we are many and different, we are one in Christ. And we believe God calls us all to fully participate in the edification of his Body, the Church, so as to better love the world around us.
We believe in the sacraments (outward and physical signs of God's inward and spiritual grace) with special emphasis on Baptism and Eucharist. And we believe in the apostolic ministry of bishops, priests, and deacons in the life of service and teaching in the Church. To help with matters of belief and practice, we draw upon Holy Scripture, Church tradition, and reason (and also a good deal of prayer).
A sufficient statement of our Christian belief is found in the historic creeds of the Church. You can find them here.
Lastly (but not least), we believe in friendship, hospitality, and community. Christ loves us all (and always will) - transforming and uniting people together in life now and eternally. We believe in open arms to love, comfort, serve, and guide others in a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe he calls and loves YOU!
