St. Luke's on the Hill Ladies Lenten Retreat at Glen lake.
The ladies had a wonderful time of fellowship centered in God's Word and one another.
Todd Cramer of the Hudson-Mohawk Humane Society shared about the many animals they are helping and developements occurring there. We met and heard from Hudson, the Railroad Puppy with his owner Richard Nash; Sandy Blodgett and her K-9 partner Obie, and Author Peggy Frezon and Ernest, a 10-yr old senior Golden Retriever they rescued.
Parishoniers from the local area (Mechanicville, Stillwater, Malta and Schaghticoke) gathered to fellowship and share a meal together.
We shared in a wonderful evening of celebration with those who have recovered while incarcerated. There were testimonies of those incarerated who have found a hopeful future through the programs and efforts of people who care. Saratoga and Albany county employees also shared how the recovery program has made a difference in the lives of those they work with in the legal system. Great job team. Thank you!
